Umm, television was introduced to the public at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York.
Either the essay is a few years old, or Grandmother is using a different date for the introduction of TV than i would use.
grandmother is bout 50 she telling u what time were like when great-great-greatmother was liveing.so sweet of her.god bless
